iPhone / iPad
In Safari, open Share → Add to Home Screen. Keep “Open as Web App” on if shown, then tap Add.
Android / desktop Chrome
Open the browser menu → Install app or Add to Home screen. If offered only a shortcut, use the browser while online; offline saving requires service-worker support.
Login, devices and saved preferences
On supported recent Safari versions, installation copies existing login and browser cookies once. We reuse those cookies without registering another device. Browser and Home Screen storage are then separate: later sign-ins, language changes and saved links may not sync.
If the app asks you to sign in again, use the same purchase email. We cannot reliably identify a physical phone across separate storage contexts. Do not repeatedly remove devices or clear website data. Check Me → Your devices; choose one primary app/browser for reading. The existing two-browser and replacement limits still apply. Contact support if registration is blocked; never buy again to restore access.
Installation does not transfer an account to another device. Saved Quick Card links and reading position may need to be selected again. Your current city is restored when its existing account-scoped cookie is available.
