Write down three deadlines, not just the flight time
Save the operating airline's latest check-in/bag-drop closing time, the gate closing time and your planned arrival at the correct terminal. These are different times. Count backwards for transport, terminal walking and any tax-refund work. A universal 'arrive two hours early' rule is not a substitute for your carrier's instructions.
