Practical steps
Before paying: check the total, not only the shelf label
Ask the cashier to show the final amount in RMB for the exact item, quantity and variant you chose. Confirm whether a displayed promotion requires a membership, coupon or minimum spend. You can show: 请确认总价，包括所有费用。 / Please confirm the total price, including all charges. A promotion you cannot activate is not your checkout price.
Have ready before a larger purchase
