Laoshan: choose a zone, then the passport ticket

Choose the actual route
Taiqing/south route, Jufeng, Yangkou and Jiushui are not interchangeable entrances. Choose the zone before navigation; use Dahedong only if the selected route names that visitor centre.
Use a foreign-passport route
The scenic area's February 2026 notice says bookings open seven days ahead and explicitly supports foreign-passport advance booking through Trip.com or purchase at a staffed window with the original passport. Check the current date and stock.
Separate admission, bus and cableway
Read whether the chosen product includes the sightseeing bus. Cableways and other add-ons may be separate. Save date, zone, visitor centre, QR and passport details.
Plan entry and the return before hiking
Show the original passport and order at a staffed counter/gate if the reader fails. Ask about today's weather closures, last return bus/cableway and the correct return stop. Exact cableway hours/fares are NOT VERIFIED; don't use a generic mountain closing time.
